I'm a calligrapher and designer from Mosul, Iraq, specializing in Arabic calligraphy and ornamentation. My passion for Arabic script led me to teach at the Institute of Fine Arts in Mosul and establish my own workshop for illuminated signs and artistic works.

As a member of the Iraqi Calligraphers’ Associations in Baghdad and Mosul, as well as the Iraqi Artists' Syndicate, my work has been showcased in exhibitions across Iraq, Turkey, Jordan, and the UAE. I have also received several honorary distinctions for my contributions to Arabic calligraphy.

Sadly, much of my work was lost at sea or destroyed by Daesh. Yet, my passion remains unshaken. Since arriving in Belgium in 2015 as a refugee, I have continued to practice and teach Arabic calligraphy, rebuilding my artistic path in Verviers.
